Introduction to my work interest in therapeutic counselling & Traumatology:
My career interest began when working with young people and adults in education.
I have over 10 years experience in this field and enjoyed it immensely. This experience gave me greater insight into the emotional needs that seemed to be overlooked and left me with many questions around what would be most helpful in their personal emotional growth. An opportunity arose to become a qualified therapeutic counsellor, this enabled me to continue my work at a local Charity agency, in private practice offering therapeutic interventions. My continued development and interest lead me towards trauma and PTSD and I am now working with clients with an agency and in private practice as a Traumatologist offering therapy for their particular needs.
